I'm in love with this series! I have to admit though, I was on a serious downer after reading this book. I need the next one to come out so that I can shake this.
I like the book and the series. I've been wrapped up in the Sean & Avery saga for too long now.As much as I've enjoyed reading the series, I'm really starting to feel taken advantage of by the author. We're now waiting for installment 22. That's 22 books at $2.99 for a total of $62.79 and each book isn't even novel length. The story just keeps dragging on and on, and when you get to the end of the most recent book thinking there will finally be a resolution to the saga, it leaves you hanging waiting for the next overpriced installment.Don't get me wrong, the story is entrancing when read back to back. But at some point, you have to wonder if the author has any respect for her readers. I really feel as though she's going out of her way to use the good nature of dedicated readers against them by drawing this out and charging readers inflated pricing.This author isn't the only one doing this and I'm getting increasingly disgusted by the use of serial novels to take advantage of readers. I'm getting to the point of refusing to read anyone who can't wrap a series up in 4 novels or less. It's disrespectful of the loyal reader.
I received an Advanced Readers Copy. H.M Ward, you are truly amazing, you keep taking the next installment higher and higher, I don't know how you keep coming up with such amazing storylines. We got to see the softer side to Sean and I liked it but it didn't last long. Avery may have had something to do with it, she thinks that she is doing the right thing but I don't know that I agree with her. I laughed, and got teary eyed while reading this installment. I really hope it works out the way she wants it to. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down, I needed to know that everything was going to work out, but Holly keeps us guessing, so now we have to wait until Arrangement 20 comes out to find out what happens with Sean and Avery. Again, amazing job Holly, waiting on the edge for next book.
OMG! I was so extremely happy for Avery. She finally gets the Sean she always wanted. Caring, sensitive, and not afraid to show her in all the ways she needs how much he truly does love and need her. The plot just keeps getting better and better. Then BOOM....everything starts to dwindle and fall apart.On the run from her evil sadistic stepbrother Vic Jr, Avery and Sean have to hide and keep it together to stay alive. Only Avery knows she has to make Sean believe she doesn't love him and to get rid of him. She truly believe she is the cause of all this heartache and disaster that has happened. The only thing that will happen is that she will get Sean killed. She can't do that.Time for Avery to become the best actress she can. What words can she say to push him away? Trystan. Need I say more. After she drops that bomb I didn't think she could do anymore to hurt him. But one last surprise with her brother has Sean livid. If I was Avery I would be running and hiding for good. Looks like bad boy Ferro is back and if Vic doesn't kill her, Sean just might.
So we are finally getting some answers! I stopped reading this story ages ago when vol 17 was released... I started reading it and gave up... there were too many questions and not enough answers and TBH I didn’t think it would ever end...it felt like it was being made up as Ms Ward went along...Even now that we are getting answers, I can’t help but feel it’s still very unplanned... I just can’t imagine that all these twists and turns were thought of when vol 1 was released and Avery jumped onto the back of Sean’s motorbike....
The absolute only reason this is a 4 star rating is because of yet another short installment. I absolutely love this series, but hate the delivery of it. Yet another intense installment of the highly entertaining story of Avery and Sean. Although I stopped reading the series until they all came out after #18, I was able to pick up right where I left off very quickly. Vic Jr and Constance are at the forefront of this book, definitely full of surprises and twists that take you down paths you aren't expecting. Love the way this author writes!
If you haven't fallen in love with Sean yet then this is the book you will. We finally get to know the real Sean and feel like you can relate to him. You watch him give his heart away and then in the same breath get it torn apart.I have always liked Avery until now.... I know sometimes you just want to slap her and other times your heart feels for her. That is until now.. Avery What in the World are you thinking?! Or Clearly she isn't!! I have always felt Sean wasn't being fair to her but dang these two are just used to tearing each other down.. I just hope in the end it all works out and we get our Happily Ever After :)WTG H.M Ward You did another Awesome Book!!!!
Number 19 in the series is just as captivating as the other 18. The characters have reached a point in their relationship where they know eachother well. But still surprise eachother on many occasions. Just when you think you have a handle on Sean and Avery's relationship. Bamm!!! It goes in a direction us as fans never expect.Ms.Ward you are the queen of cliff hangers and surprise twists and turns. Love it so much. I must read on to 20 like now!!!!
Sean is finally opening up about his past. It is everything Avery every wanted, for Sean to let her in. She is awestruck by his willingness to open up. Once again, just when everything seems like it is going to work out the unthinkable happens. Events start to unravel all that Sean & Avery have worked to accomplish.
